If you don't have a web page, especially if you already have an email address, the Studebaker Vendors Web Site may very well offer the perfect solution. Web sites can cost hundreds of dollars to develop, and there is also a monthly web hosting charge that can run from $50.00 to over $100.00 a month depending on the service. By pooling our resources, you can have a web page, A Presence on the Web, for a fraction of the cost. I will design your page and upload it to the world wide web as part of the Studebaker Vendors web site. Our web site address is  http://www.studebakervendors.com.

WHAT THIS DOES FOR YOU?
Any visitor to the Studebaker Vendors Web Site will be able to get to your page. In addition, I will supply you with a web page address which you can put on your business cards and advertising copy. The web page address will take visitors directly to your page. Thus, visitors can reach you in two different ways. There is also a link from the 1956 Studebaker Golden Hawk Owners Register web site, to the Studebaker Vendors web site. Studebaker Vendors is also part of the Studebaker Web ring, a special site devoted to Studebaker. This will provide additional avenues to bring traffic to you. I have registered Studebaker Vendors with all of the major search engines which means, anyone "surfing" the web for anything Studebaker, will have a good chance to find the Studebaker Vendors web site. And finally, I have advertised Studebaker Vendors in several major hobby publications.

WHAT IS ON THE WEB PAGE?
Your page can contain a logo, your company name, address and phone number, and a description. If you have an email address, that would be included, with the capability to email you directly from your web page. I can't put lists of parts and prices on the page, unless they are something you will have for sale over a long period of time. The best way to describe it is that your page would look like a full page ad in the yellow pages, except it would be in color. Of course, there are limits as to how long your page can be, but generally, a web page could be as long as about two printed pages. That should be more than enough to accommodate your information.

WHAT DOES IT COST?
The one time cost to design the page and put in on the Studebaker Vendors site is $40.00 The ongoing cost to maintain, or host, the page is $5.00 per month. Therefore, to get a page designed and put on the web, the cost would be $100.00 for the first year, and $60.00 for each subsequent year. Compare this to the prices stated in the first paragraph, or to what you spend for advertising in other old car or Studebaker publications.

WHY DOES IT HAVE TO COST YOU ANYTHING?
I paid a fee to register the domain name (studebakervendors.com) for two years, plus I will have to pay a yearly fee thereafter. In addition, I must pay the Internet Service Provider a monthly fee for both internet access and domain name hosting. There are also costs to advertise the site in major hobby publications such as Hemmings Motor News, Old Cars Weekly, and Turning Wheels. This web site does not benefit me in any way, as I am not a vendor. In fact, I am a customer, and I designed the web site with the customer in mind. The prices listed above will help pay my costs. If enough vendors sign up, the possibility exists that I could reduce the monthly fee.

HOW DO YOU SIGN UP?
Send your check, for $40.00, made payable to Frank Ambrogio, to the address below. Also send any logos and wording you want included on your page. If you already have an ad copy, I can load something about your business within 24 hours. I will then design your page and load it on the site. Once you approve it, see next paragraph, you can then pay the $60.00 yearly fee.

WHAT IF YOU DON'T LIKE HOW IT LOOKS?
I will send you a copy of the page. You can make corrections and additions and return them, along with your $60.00 yearly fee. I will make the changes and upload it to the Studebaker Vendors site.

WHAT IF YOU WANT TO MAKE CHANGES DURING THE YEAR?
Most web site designers charge about $65.00 and hour to make changes to a site. I will make changes to your page at no charge. Changes can include adding, changing, or deleting text or  logos, rearranging items on the page, or changing some of the colors. As long as the changes do not involve a major overhaul of your page, there will be no charge.

WHAT IF YOU WANT TO CANCEL BEFORE THE YEAR IS UP?
Just let me know your wishes. I will remove your page from the site at the end of the month and return $5.00 to you for each unused month of the yearly term.
